The story of how we became RKM Mobile Trailer Bar!

When Renea and her wife, Katryce, moved back to California, they returned home ready to begin a new chapter. Somewhere along the way, Renea found herself inspired by an idea: creating a mobile bar that would bring something beautiful, memorable, and completely unique to celebrations throughout their community.

She shared the idea with her parents, and it quickly became a family vision. Renea’s father, an experienced woodworker, offered his craftsmanship to help design and build the interior, while Renea brought her own knowledge of metalwork to the trailer’s exterior. Soon after, Renea and her mother set out together to purchase an old, weathered horse trailer—one that may not have looked like much at the time, but held incredible potential.

They brought it home and began from the ground up. Renea and her father stripped the trailer down and carefully rebuilt it, combining craftsmanship, creativity, and countless hours of work. Meanwhile, Renea, Katryce, and her mother developed the business plan that would transform their family project into RKM Mobile Bar.

The finished trailer made its first appearance at a family reunion, where friends and relatives were finally able to see what had been created. It was more than a beautifully restored bar—it represented the time, love, and dedication of an entire family.

But RKM was built with an even greater purpose.

Renea works in a hospital, while Katryce also works in healthcare. Their careers often place them beside people during some of life’s most difficult moments. They wanted to create something centered around the opposite: life’s happiest ones.

Weddings. Birthdays. Anniversaries. Family reunions. Cocktails, cotton candy, laughter, and celebrations of every kind.

RKM was never designed for just one type of event. It was created to go wherever happiness happens—to celebrate life, bring people together, and add a little luxury to the moments worth remembering.
